Alexandra “Alex” Loker is the new president and CEO of Ronald McDonald House San Diego. Loker’s 20 years of nonprofit healthcare leadership experience and deep relationships in the San Diego community, according to an announcement from the nonprofit.
Loker joins Ronald McDonald House San Diego from Rady Children’s Health, where she spent nearly nine years in senior leadership, most recently as vice president of philanthropy at Rady Children’s Hospital Foundation. She led corporate giving, community fundraising and engagement, campaigns, and public facing initiatives, while overseeing an eight-figure philanthropic department and philanthropic volunteerism, and serving as an official community spokesperson.
She also has nonprofit management experience as former executive director of the March of Dimes San Diego-Imperial Division. She led a team that considerably expanded community engagement, program delivery and dedicated bedside time to supporting parents with babies across San Diego’s neonatal intensive care units.
