Sarah Saadian is the new senior vice president, public policy and campaigns at the National Council of Nonprofits (NCN) in Washington, D.C.
Saadian joins NCN after serving as senior vice president of public policy and field organizing for the National Low Income Housing Coalition. Saadian has more than 15 years of experience with national campaigns and successfully advancing federal policies on Capitol Hill.
She graduated from the University of Connecticut School of Law after receiving her bachelor’s degree from the University of Virginia, and is a member of the Virginia State Bar.
“Beyond the DOGE-fueled challenges nonprofits are already facing, the forthcoming debates over tax policy and appropriations will require a strong voice standing up for the interests of charitable nonprofits,” said Saadian via a statement. “We will continue working with our coalition partners to ensure that voice is heard.”
