Jacqueline Waggoner is the new president and chief executive officer of Century Housing in Culver City, California. Waggoner has more than 25 years’ experience in turning policy into action and capital into community at scale, across geographies, with measurable results, according to an announcement from the organization.
Waggoner most recently was president of the Solutions Division at Enterprise Community Partners, an affordable housing organization. Waggoner oversaw a portfolio of housing, capital, and policy initiatives across the country and helped to mobilize more than $1 billion in impact investments and grants for community-informed solutions nationwide.
Before Enterprise Community Partners, she led Enterprise’s Southern California market — one of the most complex housing environments in the country — building programs that meaningfully expanded affordable housing access across the region.
Said Waggoner via a statement: “We know that the affordable housing shortage is not an abstract statistic – it means families displaced, workers priced out, communities fractured. Century Housing has been delivering real solutions and new homes in our state for three decades. With the tremendous need today, we must now expand the organization’s reach and impact, to deliver on an even greater scale than we have before for the next three decades. California’s people deserve no less.”
