Nonprofit leaders around the world are feeling the change in foreign policy and its impact on the nonprofit sector worldwide. Asha Curran, chief executive officer of the generosity movement GivingTuesday, sat with The NonProfit Times for the latest video edition of Executive Session.
“I am getting a lot of different reactions depending on who I speak to and where they sit in the world … an interesting mix of feeling just really anxious and really uncertain and that’s not a fun place to be, mourning all the things that are being lost in this moment,” she told NPT’s Editor-In-Chief Paul Clolery.
“At same time there’s this feeling that this might be a moment of incredible opportunity and I think that’s the only way you can look at such a difficult moment,” she said, hoping for new ideas, innovation and operating models.
