The umbrella organization that owns nonprofit technology providers Aplos, Raisely and Keela, launched Velora, a new brand and integrated suite. It combines fundraising, donor management, and fund accounting into one connected platform.
All three products will remain standalone solutions while Velora links the Aplos, Raisely and Keela into one platform. Raisely is a digital fundraising tool. Keela provides donor management features and Aplos deals with fund accounting and reporting.
“Nonprofits have always had to choose between best-in-class tools or fully connected systems. With Velora, they get both,” Anush Vinod, CEO at Velora said via a statement. “We’re building the future of nonprofit operations, one where fundraising, donor engagement, and financial management work in harmony.”
Anush told The NonProfit Times in June 2024 that the plan was to create a platform for all three products. “We are building one cohesive front-end system,” he said, with “one design language, one look and feel.” Vinod at that time described the target audience as “mid-market” of between $1 million and $10 million in revenue, although it is intended for any sized organization.
All three products are backed by private equity firm Alpine Investors in San Francisco. Aplos acquired Raisely in May 2023 and then bought Keela in June 2024. Terms of the deals were not disclosed.
“This is about giving nonprofits more time for the work that matters most,” Liran Keren, CTO at Velora said via a statement. “No more manual reconciliations or data silos, just best-in-class, connected systems.”
Existing customers of Aplos, Raisely, and Keela will continue using their current platforms without any disruption, according to an announcement regarding the new platform.
