Maloof Is New Benevity CEO

Christopher Maloof is the new chief executive officer of social impact software provider Benevity in Calgary, Alberta, Canada. Maloff succeeds Kelly Schmitt who stepped down as CEO after a six-year tenure at Benevity, according to a statement from the firm.

Maloof has experience in product development, global business strategy and organizational growth and deep expertise in leading scaled enterprise SaaS companies. He has also worked with impact-oriented organizations including nonprofits, national parks and credit unions, according to the announcement.

He was president and chief product officer at public company MeridianLink, which was involved access to financing in local communities, and played a role in launching multiple new products, expanding the company’s customer base and partner marketplace, driving strategic acquisitions, supporting the company’s digital transformation initiatives, and charting a growth path to a successful initial public offering.
